How might ARES’ role change if we could deliver pictures, files, and phone-quality voice over amateur radio when the commercial networks are gone or overloaded?
Pierce-Link is a high-speed amateur emergency data network for Pierce County.
Groups are forming to develop working prototypes of Pierce-Link applications and infrastructure services.
The first five working groups will focus on:
• AREDN-over-Internet
• Go-Kit Architecture
• Streaming Video
• VoIP Telephony
• Computer Aided Dispatch
Come see demo of applications and test network.
