The Pierce County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) is an amazing opportunity to use your amateur radio skills and equipment while making friends and serving the community. There are many ways to be involved and we accept any licensed amateur radio operator living in Pierce County. If you are not licensed yet we can help you with that too by sending an E-mail to our District Emergency Coordinator to get information on how you can become part of our team.
